Terms and Conditions

A. Eligibility

1. Delegates may be at any stage of study in a probability or statistics related PhD programme in an EU university.

B. Payments

1. Payments can be made online through the University of Sheffield Webstore.
   1. We can't accept cash or cheque payments directly.
   2. You will also be subject to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice of the University of Sheffield Webstore.
2. Attempts to pay the conference fee outside of the University of Sheffield Webstore may result in your registration being declined.
3. You are responsible for ensuring that the payment through the University of Sheffield Webstore was successful, and that you have received the payment reference code that you will need when registering for the RSC 2018 conference.

C. Registration and cancellations

1. The registration deadline is the last date for registration and conference fee payment, which is 1st June 2018. After this date, delegates who have registered but not paid cannot be guaranteed a place at the conference. You may request to be placed on a waiting list should another delegate be unable to attend.
2. Refunds due to cancellations will be subject to a standard cancellation fee to be confirmed.
3. After the registration deadline, delegates who need to cancel their place will not be entitled to a refund, except in the following circumstances:
   1. You have an eligible student who will take your place and pay the conference fee. No cancellation fee would be applied. This student will need to provide their own talk/poster details as soon as possible. If you have a full-rate payment, your replacement will only be able to have the meal choices you have selected for any events.
   2. We are able to give your place to a prospective delegate on the waiting list. Refunds in this manner will be subject to the standard cancellation fee, which is deducted from your refunded amount. A delegate that takes your place will be only be able to have any meal choices that you selected.
